Understand what’s behind your child’s learning difficulties.
We provide comprehensive assessment of thinking, learning and neurodevelopmental differences through a combination of Telehealth and in-school assessment. Our goal is to help families and schools understand their child’s strengths, identify what may be contributing to difficulties at school, and determine the support they need to thrive.
About Us
We provide high-quality school-based assessment services for children and young people experiencing difficulties with learning, thinking or neurodevelopmental differences.
Our service was established to make comprehensive, clinically informed assessments and diagnoses more accessible to families. Assessments are delivered in schools by psychologists with dedicated training in assessment, under the supervision of an experienced clinical neuropsychologist. This model allows us to provide detailed assessment and practical recommendations while maintaining strong clinical oversight and quality assurance.
Our approach is strengths-based, neuroaffirming and focused on understanding the whole child. We aim to help families move beyond scores and labels to better understand why their child may be struggling, what their strengths are, and what support may make learning and everyday life easier.
Cognitive and Learning Assessment Services
Comprehensive, expert assessments of thinking, reasoning, and learning skills. All learning differences assessments are designed to identify specific learning disorders, and come with extensive recommendations for support and intervention. All cognitive and learning assessments include a broad screener for other issues that may be impacting learning (emotional and developmental).
Cognitive Assessment
A cognitive assessment provides a detailed profile of your child’s thinking skills, including areas such as reasoning, memory, processing speed and problem-solving. It can help explain why a child may be finding aspects of learning more difficult, identify areas of strength, and guide practical recommendations for school and home.
Learning Differences Assessment — 1 area of concern
A focused assessment for children with difficulties in one area of learning: Reading, Writing (including spelling), or Mathematics. The assessment explores the skills underlying the difficulty, identifies strengths and areas of need, and provides practical recommendations to support learning at school and home. Where appropriate, the assessment may also support a diagnosis of Specific Learning Disorder (SLD).
Learning Differences Assessment — 2 areas of concern
A more comprehensive assessment for children experiencing difficulties across two areas of learning: Reading, Writing (including spelling), and/or Mathematics. The assessment examines each area in detail, considers how the difficulties may relate to one another, and provides clear recommendations to guide intervention and support. Where appropriate, a diagnosis of Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) may also be made.
